God is good. Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and panel welcome special guests Dan Schroer, an educator of an American school in Vietnam, and Dan Dang, who is behind the Vietnamese and Hmong language bible translations and distribution of the Expositor’s Study Bible. The first printing will result in 100-thousand New Testament bibles distributed in Vietnam. The two men work under the leading of Brother Dave Roever who was an American in the Brown Water Navy who was gravely injured in the Vietnam War, and later began his mission to take the gospel of Jesus Christ to Vietnam. Schroer shares how their Christian school is kindergarten through 12th grade, with two locations in Communist Vietnam with almost 250 students. The school began five years ago with only 13 students who were taught by two Vietnam Veterans and their wives. Brother Schroer says the 7th through 12th graders are prepared to graduate with an associate’s degree in missions and discipleship.
