Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and panel discuss deliverance ministries, demon possession, and so called generational curses. The panel agrees there is no such thing as a generational curse for the believer, and likewise, a believer cannot be possessed by a demon. Jesus Christ is the deliverer of all sin and sickness; as His children, we must believe in His power to do so. Jesus Christ paid our penalty for sin on the Cross and this is where He broke the power of sin. The panel goes on to explain how an evil spirit cannot possess the believer, but we can most certainly be oppressed by the dark powers of Satan.
