Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and panel discuss the subject of loving ourselves, looking at scripture that says to love our neighbors as ourselves. Brother Smith says we already have a self-centered love for ourselves; and the point is implied, we should show others more love because we already think too highly of ourselves. We should put others first, and view them sacrificially, for it is not about us. The panel goes on to discuss Pontius Pilate’s hand washing and other actions before the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Pilate did not want to be the one held accountable for the death of Christ. Pilate said twice, I find no fault in Him.
