Jesus Christ came to this earth to die for lost humanity. Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and panel discuss what believer’s gain when they believe in the finished work of Christ on Calvary’s Cross. Reading Luke 4:18, Jesus Himself began reading in the synagogue that the Spirit of the Lord was upon Him because He was anointed to preach deliverance to the captives and to set at liberty those who are bruised. In this verse alone, Jesus covers, salvation, deliverance, and physical and spiritual healing. The Cross of Christ paid for everything we will need in this life. The panel explains what it means to be baptized into Christ, baptized into water, and baptized with the Holy Spirit. We are called to believe in Christ, who He is and what He did on Calvary’s Cross.
