Proper Godly Worship will lead us into the presence of God. Today on Frances and Friends, Pastor Donnie Swaggart and panel discuss how music in Christianity is very important. The music is an excellent gauge of the spiritual atmosphere of a church. Reading Job 38:7, Brother Donnie explains how the angelic hosts shouted and sang for joy to God of all His creation. In the Old Testament, we find the Book of Psalms, which is man’s first songbook. Not all music within a church is good; unfortunately, too much of Christian music is to entertain the people. All music, within a church service, must glorify God.
