Today on Frances and Friends, Pastor Donnie Swaggart and panel discuss the government shutdown, now in day ten. Economically, the US is still the strongest economy in the world. Brother Josh says we must know, that the greatest influencer to the economy is the Federal Reserve Bank, as much monetary policy is controlled by interest rates. The plan is to cut interest rates, which pushes change in our economy. While many Americans have been having “tariff tantrums”, trillions of dollars have been coming in because of Trump’s tariffs through fairer trade. Brother Josh says America is finally seeing the rebuilding of the US manufacturing base with an increase in the production of goods here at home.
