As believers, we are to treat all people, as we would want to be treated. Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and the panel discuss James 2:1-9; James was writing in response to an issue, as he was seeing a favoritism in the church towards the wealthy. This was an open rebuke to the people. The poor can be rich beyond measure because of their inward faith to the Lord; just because one is wealthy, it does not equate to righteousness. Brother Donnie says righteousness must be determined to faith in the heart and the fruit seen in their lives. Everything that we have belongs to God, and He blesses us to have what we have.
