Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and panel discuss the many Bible translations with the King James Version being the first, and foremost, front-runner translation of the Bible since 1611. It is the closest thing to the Word of God. Brother Dupree explains some of the other, earlier translations and why they were surpassed by the King James translation. King James authorized the bible to be translated from the original manuscripts, by various linguists, which had no religious backgrounds or ulterior motives. King James, himself, had no involvement in the actual translating process. Brother Muzzerall reminds us that a translation must not change the doctrine.
