Today on Frances and Friends, Pastor Donnie Swaggart reads from the Book of Philemon; tracking Onesimus and his relationship with Paul. Brother Donnie expounds on Paul’s imprisonment, and looks into slavery during that time period, and looking back into Old Testament slavery. He encourages us that we in and of ourselves are unrighteous, but in Christ, we have imputed righteousness. The panel goes on to explain the difference between true faith in Jesus Christ versus the works and sacraments of religion, as well as explaining Mystery Babylon, which constitutes all false religion.
