Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and panel read Matthew 1:18-25, discussing the birth of Jesus and how the angel of the Lord assured Joseph of Christ's coming and that He would save His people. The Holy Spirit assured Joseph just as He assures us today. Dr. Gray reminds us that the Holy Spirit is our comforter. He adds that too many believers turn from the Cross and what Christ did there, because of their love for sin, they go back into the world. If our hearts are truly toward God, we would hate our sin; for the love of the world, diminishes our love for God. In James 2:19, we see that when we truly believe, we want to live a life pleasing to God. Who will you trust?
