Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and panel discuss the upcoming Bible-thon and the blessings that the study bibles will have on the people in third world countries. Brother Donnie shares his insight from travels to many of these countries and the poverty that exists there. He says we must realize the rights, freedoms and prosperity we have in America and never take it for granted. The panel explains 1 Peter 3:20-21, where a viewer emailed their belief that this verse says water baptism saves. The panel clarifies the verses, and shows water baptism does not save. The reference here, in verse 20, was to Noah’s family being saved from the flood physically, and verse 21, references being baptized into Christ with belief from your heart.
