The believer must trust in their relationship with Christ, not their works. We cannot earn our way to heaven. Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and panel read Matthew 7:21-23 looking at works of iniquity verses the completed work of Christ at Calvary’s Cross. We must beware of those who teach false doctrine, like the Pharisees; but at the same time, be cognizant of opportunities to share truth with those who may truly not know and could choose to receive it. Pastor Mike explains the Holy Spirit infilling, at salvation all believers receive the Spirit of Regeneration, but there is a second subsequent work of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit that results in speaking in other tongues.
