Believers must take a stand for God. Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and panel read from Esther 4:13-14. Haman held a grudge because Mordecai would not bow to him, and he made a decree that all the Jews would be killed. Scripture says, Esther, think not just of yourself, don’t stay quiet. Brother Smith says this can be likened to our situation today, as we see Christians are under attack, but often stay quiet. Esther you are the queen, but you still are not safe; if you hold your peace, you and your father’s house will be destroyed. As Christians, we must speak out on the moral issues that are being determined by government and politics. Esther needed to take a stand to save her people. Believers be encouraged. Brother Brown says our light is going from a flicker to a flame, and evil is being exposed. In the Name of Jesus, we can take authority over the powers of darkness just as Esther did for her entire nation. Jesus Christ is coming soon.
