Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and panel welcome African Missionaries Kody and Meghan Barbier. Since 2017, the two have played a major part in the distribution of some 75-thousand Expositor’s Study Bibles all throughout the rural areas of Kenya. The Barbiers are also seeing doors open for bibles in Mozambique, Ethiopia, Sudan, Malawi, Nigeria, and Liberia. In South Sudan, Brother Barbier describes the plight with only 10 percent literacy there, with little food or employment. He adds, if a young man is stopped at the border, trying to flee South Sudan they are often captured for the military. Brother Barbier says there are over three billion people worldwide who have not heard the gospel, that's 41 percent.
