In the beginning was the Word. Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and the panel discuss 1 John 1:1; reading how God, from the beginning, always was God and became man. Gnostic teaching, denying the deity of Christ, was having influence on some Christians in the early church. Brother Donnie warns that all false doctrine has a seducing demon spirit that will lure a believer with their authority and knowledge. If we are not strongly anchored in the Word of God we can be pulled away from the truth by these evil spirits. The panel discusses the narrative of critical race theory and how the cancel culture and woke ideologies are growing. Brother Donnie says the motive is the censorship of the conservative, Christian voice, which will be completely silenced if the liberal mindset is allowed to reign.
