Frances & Friends - July 28th, 2022
Frances & Friends • 28-Jul-2022
On the Cross, Jesus Christ paid the penalty for our sin; a debt we could not pay. Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and panel discuss how forgiveness is not victory. Brother Smith says His death also sets us free over the power of the bondage of sin. We can walk a victorious Christian life, free from the dominion of sin in our lives. In the 12th chapter of Acts, we see how Peter is brought out of a physical prison by the power of the Lord; Brother Smith says this is also symbolic of an inner prison that all men need set free from. The terminology of “ pleading the blood” ; means applying His sacrifice to the situations of our lives. When the Cross of Christ is the sole object of our faith, then the Holy Spirit moves on our behalf to transform us into the image of Christ.
