God expects every one of His children to be over-comers. Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and panel discuss how faith in Christ’s finished work can give all believers victory over sin. Christ took away the penalty of sin at the Cross, where we can be justified by our faith, and His death breaks the power of sin, so we can be sanctified and walk a victorious Christian life. Jesus stepped out of heaven for the very purpose of going to the Cross for sinful man; He had to become flesh and shed His blood, which was typified in every Old Testament sacrifice. The self-efforts of man, no matter how good they are, can never redeem man; only Christ’s finished work can redeem us. The panel discusses the latest on the U.S. Supreme Court rulings, the stand taken by Justice Thomas, and the swearing in of Justice Brown-Jackson. Sister Swaggart calls on believers to pray for our nation’s highest court like never before.
