Who is Jesus? If you get Jesus wrong, it doesn’t matter what you do right. Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and panel read Matthew 16:13-23, discussing the ever important understand of who Christ is and what He came to do. We must not separate Jesus Christ from what He came to do on Calvary’s Cross. Peter says you are the Messiah, the Christ, the Son of the living God. He is God in our midst who would step out of heaven, born in the flesh of a virgin, to come as a sinless sacrifice, and die for all mankind. He paid a price no one else could pay. The church must be built on this rock alone. The panel addresses the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous and how it contradicts the victory that can only be found in the finished work of Christ. In Christ, deliverance of all sin and addiction comes through a one step program.
