Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and the panel discuss 1 John 3:9 looking at sin in the believer’s life. Brother Donnie says John repeats himself in these writings for the purpose of teaching the people how sin is not to dominate the life of the believer. He was speaking mostly to the Gnostics who had a higher learning outside of the Word of God, and thus gave a leniency to sin. The believer is not to live a sinful lifestyle. As a believer, we have a totally new nature, so if we sin, we know we must repent to God. The panel discusses the hundreds even thousands who will miss the rapture because of unbelief, but will give their hearts to the Lord during the Great Tribulation and be saved. The panel reiterates 2nd Amendment rights, and the current debate over automatic and semi-automatic gun ownership in light of the recent school massacre in Texas.
