Today on Frances and Friends, Pastor Donnie Swaggart and panel discuss the various Christian denominations, and how views differ on whether Christians should drink alcohol. Opinions and teachings also differ on whether believers must be water baptized, as some teach. Brother Donnie explains how baptism is an ordinance of the church, just as the taking of Holy Communion. We are to keep these ordinances, but they are in no way required for salvation. The panel discusses that no one should have a water baptism unless they have a full understanding of their salvation that has already taken place.
