RAIN IS COMING— Tonight Pastor Gabriel Swaggart preaches from 1 Kings 18:41, depicting the battle of the spirits of darkness and light. In Israel, the Northern kingdom, king Ahab was ungodly; he and his wife Jezebel introduced idolatry to the people of God. False worship will always lead to destruction. Baal was a god of the elements with 850 prophets. Ahab came against Elijah, the man of God, for bringing about a Spiritual drought. Elijah asked the people how long would they dance between two opinions. Pastor Gabe asks us, how long will we halt between religion and God’s Word? The altar needed to be rebuilt, Elijah called on Jehovah and lightening consumed the sacrifice. The church must get back to the Cross to see revival. Elijah was pulling the people back to the sacrifice, i.e. the cross, and after three years of drought an abundance of rain began to fall.
