PENTECOST FOR OUR GENERATION- Where is the Lord God of Elijah? Tonight at Family Worship Center, Pastor Paris Ragan preaches on the power of God and the 2nd subsequent work of the baptism of the Holy Spirit. He begins, reading in 2nd Kings 2:9-14, sharing the story of the translation of the prophet Elijah to heaven and the beginning of Elisha’s prophetic ministry. Walking us through the lives of some of the great men and women of God in the early 1900’s who believed on the power of God and saw that power first hand save, heal, and quicken believers who were hungry for more of God. This kind of hunger for more of God resulted in revivals of great magnitude. Pastor Paris encourages us that this power is for every generation. We must have Pentecostal power, as there is a harvest field all around us. God wants to pour out His Spirit on one generation after another; thus, our faith must stay anchored in the finished work of Christ at Calvary. Are you this kind of hungry?
