Today on The Generation of The Cross, Pastor Gabriel Swaggart is joined by JSBC Professor Dr. Dave Watts, Abbeville Pastor Kenny Flaming, and Kenya missionaries Kody and Meaghan Barbier. Pastor Gabe asks his guests to address the question, is the church more mission driven or more attraction driven? What should its outreach be? Often times the church is focused like a business, giving attention internally to numbers and our growth. The Barbier’s say, over the years it seems like so much less attention has been going overseas. But the foundation of Pentecost was the reason that people came together at the turn of the century, drawing people collectively to share the gospel across this world. The church has a mandate from Christ, go to every nation teaching the gospel, the first Pentecostals knew that.
