To everyone is given a measure of grace, but this grace can be frustrated. Today on The Generation of The Cross, Pastor Gabriel Swaggart is joined by JSBC Professor Dr. David Watts. They discuss Paul’s writings from prison, reading Ephesians 4:10, discussing how Jesus is our deliverer. Looking at Psalm 68, we see David’s song of triumph; as the Ark of the Covenant, the presence of God is being brought into Jerusalem. Pastor Gabe says this points to the victory of Christ defeating all efforts of Satan, when He died on the Cross. Satan is a foe we could not defeat on our own; God sent our conqueror in Jesus Christ. When Christ died on the Cross, the battle was over. When we anchor our faith in the finished work of Christ, we are victorious.
