The ongoing study of the Word at Bible College is important for the person wanting to serve the Lord after high school. There are many horror stories of people turning away from God at seminary, turning away at Bible College, and losing out with God. It’s because they may not have had a revelation of this truth of who God is. It’s not just about a mental ascent. It’s about a revelation deep in your heart, that this truth is changing my life. The message of the cross has changed lives. It’s not ascent. It’s not just head knowledge, but it has to be in your spirit and your heart. The book of Acts is the blueprint of what the church should be. When we look at Paul’s epistles, most of them are dealing with what the Christian should be and how the Christian should respond and act in the world. Ephesians is dealing with the body of Christ as a whole and what the church should be.
