DISCIPLING DIFFERENT GENERATIONS- Today on The Generation of The Cross, Pastor Gabriel Swaggart is joined by Crossfire Pastor Paris Ragan, and JSBC Professors David Watts and Jonathan Steele reading Ephesians 5:8-10. Discussing discipleship, it in many ways requires very hands on work and hands on ministry. The more time the teacher or pastor spends teaching, it actually offers a better opportunity for discipleship to take place because they are leading by example. Looking at the Apostle Paul, as a minister, Paul said I am the example that you are to follow. Pastors have a heavy responsibility to live out the gospel they preach, and spend time with the ones they are discipling, training, and teaching how to live for God. Faith in the finished work of Christ alone is the only way to true, genuine discipleship that moves people to walk as children of light.
