When it comes to the home, the Holy Spirit devotes much to the wife, but even more to the husband. The responsibility is more on his shoulders than it is the wife’s, as he is to lead by example his family. Pastor Gabe challenges husbands to assume their proper role as being the head of the home, as Christ is the head of the church. He also challenges husbands to love their wives as Christ loves the church. When a marriage is anchored in the finished work of Christ, the husband’s role is truly called to a self-sacrificing love.
