WORK AS UNTO THE LORD- Today on the Generation of the Cross, Pastor Gabriel Swaggart is joined by JSBC Professor Dave Watts, and Evangelist David Borg reading Ephesians 6:5-9 as they continue their teaching on Christianity in the workplace. In secular work, Christianity may not exactly be conducive for that job and that employment, so how do we take what we know and apply it, and what is the best way to do it? The Apostle Paul gives us instructions here for a reason. He says everything that we do, we are not doing to please man. It is a wrong motivation when we only do right when so and so is watching, or in an attempt to get in the good graces of our boss. Wherever we are, when are faith is anchored in the finished work of Christ, we can know, when we show up as Christians, that everything we do is to be found pleasing to the Lord.
