CHRISTIAN ETHICS- Today on the Generation of The Cross, Pastor Gabriel Swaggart is joined by JSBC Professor David Watts, reading Ephesians 4:28 as they continue their study of the teachings of the Apostle Paul and what is expected of the believer. Pastor Gabriel says when it comes to tithing, too many believers are robbing the gospel. Scripture confirms that tithing was before the law; Abraham paid tithe to Melchizedek, he gave him a tenth. That’s what tithe means, a tenth, and giving to the work of God is how souls are brought into the Kingdom of God. When we are faithful in our giving to the true gospel going forth, we will see, though it may not happen over night, but there’s going to come a time where God is going to say that you’re the head and not the tail any longer. God will bless a cheerful giver.
