KNOWING THE LOVE OF GOD IN THE MESSAGE OF THE CROSS- Today on The Generation of the Cross, Pastor Gabriel Swaggart is joined by JSBC Professor David Watts and Associate Pastor Shaun Murphy. Reading Ephesians 3:17-19, Pastor Gabe says this passage is important that we know the kind of love that is being talked about. It is the God kind of love, agape love. This kind of love should dwell in every believer’s heart. It allows no room for anger or coveting. Its only defining characteristic is showing this God kind of love to all people. This is a distinctive mark that separates Christians from all other people. Jesus said that the original Ten Commandments could be combined to just two; love God, and love people. God want us to be about His business; and that business, is redemption and restoration.
