Everything about the believer should be completely different from our counterparts in the world. We are called to live our daily lives, that is, to walk out our daily lives in the likeness of Christ. The Apostle Paul is describing the new identity we receive the moment we accept Christ; then, the Holy Spirit will work on our behalf to help us live in this manner. We put off the old man, which can only be done by placing our faith exclusively in the Cross, then we can find victory over sin in our lives.
