To rightly divide the Bible, we need well studied teachers grounded in the original intent of God’s Word. Today on The Message of The Cross, Pastor Gabriel Swaggart is joined by JSBC Professor Adam Denoon. In Ephesians 1:13-14, we read In Whom we trust. Pastor Gabe says when we say yes to God and get saved, we are now sealed In Him; it’s an ownership, we belong to Him. We will continually belong to Him, and no one can take us out of the hand of God, and good things are to come. Brother Denoon says it’s an identification of sorts. The very minute we are save, the Holy Spirit takes up residence inside of us, which is an inward seal that says we now are a child of God. We are washed, sanctified, and justified; that is, we are initially washed, with a continual cleaning up, including a declaration of righteousness. Brother Gabe says, how exciting to know, we are sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise!
