RAISING CHILDREN- Today on The Generation of The Cross, Pastor Gabriel Swaggart is joined by JSBC Professor Jonathan Steele, and Evangelist David Borg reading Ephesians 6:4 discussing Christian parenting. When our faith is anchored in Christ, and we are living a Spirit controlled life, then we will be able to be the parents God has called us to be. Being the parent we are supposed to be will flow continually because of our correct faith and Spirit filled controlled life. The biggest challenge is maintaining our faith in Him; if we don’t, we will be operating in the flesh. As parents, we cannot fulfill our role correctly without the power of the Holy Spirit. We don’t have what it takes. It will be shallow, and it will only lead to head knowledge. We must have our hearts right, and that is faith anchored in the finished work of Christ and that alone.
