THE ARMOR OF GOD- Today on The Generation of The Cross, Pastor Gabriel Swaggart is joined by JSBC Professor Dave Watts, and Evangelist David Borg reading Ephesians 6:13-20 as they discuss the attributes of God that every believer is given by faith. The idea of putting on the armor of God really is speaking of putting on faith. It’s what we believe, where our faith is to be placed. Now, when it comes to placing our faith in what Christ has done, that is something we do everyday when it comes to the idea of putting things on. The only thing that we are required to do everyday is, Lord, place my faith in what you have done for me at Calvary’s Cross, and that is where we keep our faith. Our source is the Cross, the finished work of Calvary. A lot of Christians have truth wrong, and they are struggling. This is why the Armor begins with our loins being girted about with a belt of truth, the truth of Jesus Christ and what He did at Calvary. If we misunderstand the atonement, we will misunderstand everything else.
