SPIRITUAL WARFARE- The believer’s justification is secure when we fail. Today on The Generation of The Cross, Pastor Gabriel Swaggart is joined by JSBC Professor Dave Watts discussing the good fight of faith. Believers still feel the effects of Adam’s fall, referred to at times, as the clinging vines of the fall. We read in Romans chapter six, however, that sin shall not have dominion over us. Temptation may come because we are still human. Do we succumb to it, or are we able to rebuke it in the name of Jesus? When we repent, God is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. The sin nature will remain dormant when we keep our faith anchored in the finished work of Christ, but the moment we begin to place our faith, in anything else for victory in our Christian walk, the sin nature can rise up again. Nothing in our hands we bring, only to the Cross we cling.
