THE ARMOR OF GOD- Today on The Generation of The Cross, Pastor Gabriel Swaggart is joined by JSBC Professor Dave Watts reading Ephesians 6:17 continuing a study on spiritual warfare. Many Christians are ladened with wrong thinking, which results in wrong actions regarding how victory is obtained and maintained. Christians do not understand what it means to anchor their faith in the Cross, and as a result of misplaced faith, we end up with incorrect thinking and actions, which will lead to defeat. Looking to the finished work of Christ is the only way the Holy Spirit can properly work in our lives, leading us to walking out a victorious Christian life. All spiritual transformation that occurs must come from the inside out. The believer’s mind and heart must be renewed to all that Jesus Christ accomplished on our behalf at Calvary; this is what it means to have a spiritual mindset, which will protect us from the warfare we will experience on this side of heaven.
