THE SWORD OF THE SPIRIT- Today on The Generation of The Cross, Pastor Gabriel Swaggart is joined by JSBC Professor Dave Watts reading Ephesians 6:17 teaching on spiritual warfare. While our shield of faith is defensive, most every other weapon we have is for our defense to stop the enemy from attacking us. Our one offensive weapon is the sword of the Spirit, which is, the Word of God. A sword inflicts serious damage to the opponent, which means that we can inflict serious damage to the powers of darkness that come against us. The bible is not a magic wand, but it is a powerful weapon where the Holy Spirit will accompany its use through our right object of faith, i.e., the Cross of Christ.
