Today on The Generation of The Cross, Pastor Gabriel Swaggart is joined by Crossfire Youth Pastor Paris Ragan discussing the importance of reaching young people today with personal contact, showing them that pastors and church leaders are willing to invest in their lives and their world and share the gospel with them. Do we think churches have become so inward focused that they have forgotten that they are supposed to be externally focused? There was a really great church in Revelation, doing great theologically, getting rid of all false teaching, all false apostles. But perfect theology, looking at the testimony at the church in Ephesus, still found the early converts leaving their first love. You can get all the theology right, but be so internally focused, that you are still dying because you’ve forgotten what the goal of Christianity is. The commission is go into all the world and share the gospel. This is the Great Commission.
