THE APPLICATION OF THE MESSAGE OF THE CROSS- Today on the Generation of The Cross, Pastor Gabriel Swaggart is joined by JSBC Professor, Pastor David Watts. The two are reading from Ephesians 4:1-6, teaching what it means to be In Christ. The Apostle Paul is writing here to believers. He is explaining to believers then and now, transformation; looking at the change in the Gentiles, how that now they’re on equal footing, so to speak spiritually, with their counterparts, the Jews, and how that their inward transformation has worked its way to the outside, showing forth in their character and living. In other words, when we are born again our behavior should change. Pastor Gabe says this is the application and result of the message of the cross, as the believer’s faith must be in the finished work of Christ and that alone.
