THE ROLE OF THE CHILD IN THE HOME- Today on The Generation of The Cross, Pastor Gabriel Swaggart is joined by JSBC Professor and Powerhouse Kidz’ Pastor, Jonathan Steele as they read Ephesians 6:4. We need to realize discipline is also instruction. Just saying stop that, or just spanking a child, or chastising them isn’t really teaching a child anything. Brother Jonathan says God showed him how to instruct his children. If we just chastise, and respond overbearingly to the child, the child will likely rebel. We must teach our children God’s ways; for the bible says if we train up a child in the way he should go, they will not depart from it.
