SPIRITUAL WARFARE- Today on the Generation of the Cross, Pastor Gabriel Swaggart is joined by JSBC Professor Dave Watts as they study Ephesians 6:10-12 discussing the spiritual warfare that comes when a believer sets his course on the will of God for His life. Satan is going to do everything he can to pull you away from what we came from, from what we’ve been brought to. The moment we begin to understand how to live in victory through the means of the finished work of Christ, it does not mean our problems are over. The Spirit of God living within us will do the work when our faith is anchored in the Cross; but there will be conflict. There are enemies within and enemies without. But regardless of that, we have been called according to Ephesians 1 to walk worthily by which we have been called. Pastor Gabe says the only way to walk worthy is not by our own efforts, but by faith in Christ’s finished work alone. This is how the Holy Spirit then works on our behalf to bring about the victory we need in our everyday lives.
