Today on Insight, John and Josh Rosenstern discuss the first day of the Supreme Court confirmation hearings with Judge Amy Coney Barrett. Brother John says the questioning leaned strongly to issues that Judge Barrett would be pushed to answer with regards to her personal beliefs and not on the laws in place, upheld by the Constitution of the United States. Brother John says Judge Barrett was phenomenal and did not cave under the pressure. Brother Josh says the questioning from New Jersey Senator Booker and Hawaii Senator Hirono was embarrassing and disrespectful to all, with an attempt to trip up Ms. Barrett. Brother John believes this could be a part of a set up that may play out in the days to come. Brother Josh says the Affordable Care Act is fast approaching a vote that many of the Senators would like to stop, or at least slow Judge Barrett’s confirmation, with hopes of preventing her involvement.
