Today on Insight, John and Josh Rosenstern discuss the tracking of the Omicron COVID variant. A Washington Post tracker shows Washington D.C. has the highest daily average of the newest variant of COVID, which is 279 infected people per 100-thousand people, that comes out to a little less than 3/10 of one-percent. New York has 175 cases for a daily average of COVID cases of 100-thousand. The state of Florida has an average of 113 COVID cases a day. Brother Josh points out that Washington D.C. and New York have some of the strictest mandates with regards to stopping the spread of COVID. Florida has very few mandates with regards to masks and vaccines. Brother Josh says despite these extremely low numbers, along with a much lower death rate than the first two COVID-19 outbreaks, the government is still holding on to instilling a reoccurring element of fear in Americans. The goal, creating fear will force people to willfully give up their rights.
