Today on Insight, John and Josh Rosenstern discuss a voice rising up among the Palestinian people in the Middle East. The voice is requesting an election within the Palestinian Authority, as elections have been postponed there for some twenty years, since President Mahmoud Abbas replaced Yasser Arafat in 2005. Being ruled by the same type dictatorship since Yasser Arafat, with the ongoing effort to get Israel to give up land for peace, with the Hamas ruling the Gaza area. Brother John says the concern is who will be his successor and will the Hamas take more rule within the Palestinian territory and gain predominance. Acts of terrorism have been the concern, since there has been much favoritism for the Hamas since its formation under the Muslim Brotherhood. Brother John says Hamas wants to destroy Zionism, and wrongly believes the land is Muslim land and does not belong to Israel.
