Today on Insight, John and Josh Rosenstern discuss the latest announcement from Alejandro Mayorkas, the Secretary of the United States Homeland Security. Mayorkas says there is an acute need to construct roads to prevent unlawful entry into the US in the Rio Grande area, where the border crisis is screaming for increased border wall protection in the area. For several years now, under the Biden Administration, Donald Trump’s border wall construction was stopped; since then, in 2022 alone, border patrol encountered over 2-million people crossing the border illegally, with tens of thousands coming from the country of Venezuela alone.
