Today on Insight, John and Josh Rosenstern discuss the latest on the potential government shutdown. America’s debt has to be addressed, if the Senate votes accordingly this afternoon, then they have bought some time until October to address America’s budget. If Trump’s tariffs work the situation could improve. The entitlement situation in this country is a big part of the problem; with 48-percent of US citizens not paying federal income tax, but receive tax credits, so they end up getting money back, when they have paid nothing in. Brother Josh says redistribution is not the answer, and we need to stop expanding government assistance and subsidy programs that so many are taking advantage of.
