Christians need to pray for Israel. Today on Insight, John and Josh Rosenstern discuss the heightened hostility towards Israel, with most recently, missiles being launched from Gaza into Israel. Brother Josh says the Israeli defense force is retaliating to the attacks. Brother John explains the ongoing tension over the Temple Mount area, as it is believed by the Muslims this is the area where Muhammad launched off into the 7th heaven, making the Mosque there important to the Muslim community. The area is important to Israel because God gave it in Covenant and that Jewish element reigns with connection to the Wailing Wall. Some Palestinians who were throwing rocks at Jewish worshipers triggered this recent tension and the Israeli police responded; this then triggered and escalated the situation where now rockets are flying.
