Today on Insight, John and Josh Rosenstern discuss the Inflation Reduction Act that has passed the Senate and is now before the House of Representatives. If passed in the House, it will go before President Biden to sign and the distribution of hundreds of billions of government dollars will go out to a majority of “green” efforts in the name of saving the climate. Brother Josh says this bill has been ridiculously named, as it has nothing to do with the reduction of inflation. The funds will also bolster the IRS, as it plans to hire some 87-thousand new employees. Brother Josh says adding resources to the IRS and simplifying the tax code would be fine; but there is much discussion over the potential new hires, over a ten year period of time, with agents agreeing to use guns and force if need be. Brother John says this is just another potential takeover of the rights of American citizens and usher in more government control.
