Today on Insight, John and Josh Rosenstern discuss the political spin to the COVID19 health crisis. To not talk about it would be foolish, but many Christians believe that politics should not be talked about, because "God’s got it". Brother Josh says those who have that attitude are not part of the solution. People need to realize the seriousness of the issues at hand; if the church does not realize it, our freedom of religion and speech will be taken from us. In America, we have been shielded from the fact that Christians are being persecuted all over the world. We need to pray; yes, but we are also to speak about what’s going on. The churches silencing the truth is all of Satan; he wants Christians to stay quiet. The cancel culture movement has the fuel of division and a goal to destroy the family. As for the Democratic National Convention, its agenda is being hidden under the efforts to destroy President Trump. Brother John says they are showing reverse racism. He says both political sides are showing more concern about their individual parties and are turning moral issues into political ones. Brother John says it’s an effort to legitimize wrong doing. In all of the Pauline Epistles, Paul gives doctrine and practical living, which means Christians are expected to be hearers and doers of the Word. The intercession of the righteous can hold back judgment for the sake of the Gospel going forth to bring more people into the Kingdom of God.
