One in five Americans has some type of student loan debt. Today on Insight, John and Josh Rosenstern discuss President Biden’s Student loan forgiveness plan that totals some 300-billion in loans that would be forgiven. Some 14.5 million Americans owe 10-thousand dollars or less, with 9-million owing between 10 to 20-thousand, and 10-million owing between 20 to 40 thousand dollars. These loans continue on for some 7-million more Americans that have borrowed and owe even greater amounts. Brother John says this “government forgiveness” will not help, and will fall on the backs of all taxpayers to the tune of some two thousand dollars in income tax and increased inflation. This is redistribution. The idea of student loan forgiveness, and “free college” is a misconception; when the government is involved, there is nothing free.
